Bering Yachts is expanding its activities and, this year in addition to yachts, has begun producing catamarans in Burgas, marking a new phase in the city’s maritime and industrial development. At the end of 2025, the city of Burgas symbolically marked the keel-laying of the first three catamarans in a planned series of ten vessels. The event celebrated the construction of catamarans BC60-05, BC60-07, and BC60-08, which are part of the production program of Bering Yachts. According to the manufacturer, direct investments in the project are expected to reach €20 million. These funds will be allocated to land acquisition, the development of production facilities, and the organization of manufacturing processes in the South Industrial Zone of Burgas. The project is expected to create at least 200 permanent jobs and will also initiate the production of a series of lower-budget small vessels for the fishing fleet, up to 15 meters in length, equipped with fuel-efficient diesel engines. In line with maritime tradition, the Mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, symbolically placed three coins bearing the city’s logo under the keel blocks of the three catamarans, wishing success and prosperity for the project.
